The Beaverton Resource Guide is a free monthly community paper sponsored by a diverse cross-section of public and private organizations. This 32 page publication engages its readers by highlighting what makes the city of Beaverton a great place to live, work and shop.
Concept: Created a fun & interesting annual report for PetSmart that the shareholders would actually want to read. Enclosed the report with a blue pet collar. Utilized photos of the CEO and President with their pets instead of the usual corporate headshots. Used photos of rabbits to represent the financial growth of the company. Implemented the "bouncing ball" as a graphic element to accompany page numbers.
NOTE: This student project fulfilled curriculum at the Art Institute of Portland.
Concept: Design collateral for business to business event using illustrations that employ humor to convey that these innovations "...could change everything'.
B2B Event Collateral
Concept: Created an eye-catching poster to promote the Portland Arts Festival; Showcased a sample of the artists' work in the foreground; Utilized a paint brush and torn paper "landscape" to illustrate the handmade art on display at the festival; Constructed a unique northwest tree line (derived from the tree silhouette used on Oregon license plates); and maintained a red, white and blue color scheme to emphasize Bank of America as the primary sponsor.
